Online Etiquette = Netiquette
A majority of time in online classes is spent sharing information, ideas, and opinions. In the classroom, as in the workplace, we must be courteous, respectful, and professional in our interactions online.
Working together, we can maintain an environment free of harassment - of any kind. This includes demeaning written or spoken comments related to ethnicity, race, religion, age, ability, sex, gender, or sexual orientation.
In all communications, respect the diversity of opinions among instructors and classmates, and engage with them in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner. Remember that you can challenge ideas without making the challenge personal. If you have concerns about something that has been said online, please let your instructor know.
