We work hard to create a safe and welcoming campus, but trauma does happen. These events and experiences can have a serious impact on our mental, emotional, and physical well-being, which makes it hard to participate in classes. We want you to have the support you need for whatever you experienced.
I want to talk to someone
- The Assault Survivors Advocacy Program Links to an external site. (ASAP) provides 24/7 free access to talk with an advocate in-person, via phone, or via email. Speaking with an advocate is confidential and they can help you understand your rights and connect you with further resources.
- Speak with a therapist at the Counseling Center Links to an external site. or the Psychological Services Clinic Links to an external site.. These are confidential spaces that can provide mental and emotional support, help you process your experience, and connect you to additional resources.
- You can make a request to meet with a case manager through the office of Student Outreach and Support Links to an external site.(SOS). The SOS team can work with your advisors, professors, and other campus groups to find support for you.

- My Safe Campus Links to an external site.is an anonymous reporting platform to report campus incidents of all types.
- Make a report directly to the UNC Police Department Links to an external site.for events that happened on campus. If something happened away from campus, our Greeley Police Department Links to an external site. will help you. We know the police can be intimidating, but they are responsible for investigating crimes.
- You can also make a report directly through the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, Links to an external site.which handles campus cases related to Title IX, harassment and discrimination, and others.

Crime Statistics
Every college is federally required to publish reports of crimes on and around certain areas of campus and properties that are owned or controlled by the college. This is called the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report. It is updated by October 1st each year with the three previous calendar year’s crime statistics. This report is updated within two business days of any crimes that are reported around UNC Police patrol jurisdiction.
