As your gradebook becomes filled with student and assignment data, you may want to use its management tools to focus on more specific entries. To make the best use of these tools, it helps to know the layout of the grid you find when you open grades.

Grades View

Use the interactive to learn about the basic components on the Grades page.

 

Use the interactive to learn about the colors and meanings found within the gradebook page.

 

 

You may be accustomed to using Student View to see what students see. That view is of what any student would see. In Grades, you can see exactly what each student sees!

  1. In Grades, select the student you wish to view from the student roster.
  2. The student's Context Card will slide out on the right side of the screen.
  3. Select the Grades button on the student's Context Card.
  4. You will then see the students grades the way they see them.
