Assignments Index Page
The Assignments index page contains all graded elements of the course as well as any ungraded assignments. A graded discussion or graded quiz will appear on the assignments index page alongside all other assignments. Ungraded discussions and practice (ungraded) quizzes will only appear on the Discussion index or Quizzes index.
Using the Assignments Index Page
Every major area on the left-side navigation in Canvas links to an index page for that area. This page serves as an interactive table of contents. The Assignments index page is unique because it includes all graded items, including graded discussions and graded quizzes and surveys. You will notice the assignments, discussions, and quizzes in this picture have different icons to indicate the type of graded assignment they are.
Ungraded discussions and practice quizzes will only be visible on the discussions or quizzes index page, but any discussions and quizzes that are graded will also be listed on the Assignments index page.
