Collegiality
The IRIS Project strives to be an inclusive learning community, respecting those of differing backgrounds and beliefs. Each participant has something of value to contribute and to learn. IRIS recognizes, however, that our varied perspectives and experiences can sometimes make open and honest dialogue difficult, especially online.
In this course, you will navigate ideas that will challenge your views and tackle difficult and sensitive topics. As we explore this material, we must take care to respect the individual backgrounds, personal identities, and differing intellectual approaches that we each bring to our learning inside and outside of this course. Even if you do not agree, you are expected to be respectful. Remember that you can challenge ideas without making the challenge personal. If you have concerns about something that has been said, please notify the IRIS Project immediately via email at IRISProject@unco.edu
Netiquette
Below are some guidelines to help you navigate online etiquette (AKA netiquette) while you participate in this course.
